Ingredients: spelt wheat*
Allergy advice: for allergens, including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of barley, rye.
Milled in the UK with EU & Non-EU spelt.
Storage: roll down the top after use, store in a cool dry place.
Packaging material: paper.

Spelt is an ancient grain which is believed to have been used widely by the Romans. The grain is a variety of wheat. Often those with wheat intolerances may have trouble with the over-popular variety of strong modern wheat used in most pastas, breads, milled flours etc. You may therefore be fine to cook with Spelt Flour, even though it is a variety of wheat; however trialing this will be your own decision. Spelt contains gluten and is therefore not suitable for Coeliacs.
