Soft powdery texture. I use it for a sourdough bread baked in a bread-maker, I’m very pleased with the result.

Great product , makes a loaf of the quality I cannot get from any other source. We get great results even though we change the formula to use honey and olive oil. We have been buying the 25 kg. bag since Covid as most of the supermarkets around us do not always have the 1.5 kg. bags of bread flour. The 25 kg. bag lasts us about 4 months and always produces a great whole meal loaf. Only criticism is your exterior packaging is not very strong, it generally arrives bashed about a bit.

Excellent Flour makes lovely bread mixed with your white bread flour, the finished loaf has a lovely nutty flavour.

We ordered this plus the stoneground whole meal flour for making roti (chappati) mainly and this was definitely the preferred flour. It makes a softer roti, stays fresh longer once kneaded & kept in the fridge (only has water added, nothing else) and even a few days later, it rolls and cooks well. Once the roti is made, it still keeps soft if stored in an airtight container, unlike other flours where they turn into crisps if not eaten straight away. This will be out first choice flour from now on. I know I should make bread but haven’t gotten around to it yet? The sourdough starter needs woken up!

Excellent Flour, with a lovely taste. When I want a change from Organic Wholemeal Spelt, this is the flour I choose. It makes really good bread especially if you like your bread earthy. If you prefer a lighter texture half and half with strong white organic flour works well. Both versions freeze well and make brilliant toast
