ORGANIC Strong White Bread Flour

Ingredients: flour (wheat*, calcium carbonate, iron, thiamine, niacin), antioxidant (ascorbic acid).

Allergy advice: for allergens, including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of barley, rye. 

*Organic produce.

Milled in the UK with EU & Non-EU wheat.

Storage: roll down the top after use and store in a cool dry place.

Packaging material: paper.

Always cook flour before consumption.

This is my standard strong white bread flour. It's also fine as a general white flour for other cooking. I also make an oat lof with 400g of this strong white flour, 80g of oats and 60g of Khorasan for extra flavour. It rises excellently, tastes good and smells wonderful when toasting!

This is my favourite strong white bread flour - reliable used on its own to make a good white loaf. Usually, though, I mix it with one of Dove's heritage, wholemeal or ancient grain flours (3:1 ratio of white flour to the heritage /ancient grain /wholemeal flour) and I also usually add a handful of mixed seeds to make a tasty bread that is lighter than pure wholemeal but packed with flavour. It works perfectly in my bread machine too. It is always reliable and the resulting loaves get lots of compliments. A loaf sometimes does not even last the day especially if there is home made soup around!

I have been using this flour for a while now. I have tried so many flours but none of them was completely satisfactory until I tried this one. I think the strong white is a perfect combination with my ray starter for my sourdough bread.
