Wholemeal Plum Crumble


  • 600g plums
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 250g Doves Farm Organic Fine Wholemeal Flour
  • 150g Demerara sugar
  • 150g butter


  1. Pre-heat the oven.
  2. Put the plums into a 1½lt/3pt oven dish.
  3. Add the caster sugar and water and stir to mix.
  4. Put the flour and Demerara sugar into a mixing bowl.
  5. Slice the butter into lumps, add it to the bowl and roughly mix with a fork, to create lumpy ‘breadcrumbs’.
  6. Tip the mixture over the fruit.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
