White Sauce


  • 50g Doves Farm Organic Plain White Flour
  • 50g butter
  • 600ml milk
  • salt and pepper


  1. Put the flour, butter and milk into a saucepan over a medium heat, stirring all the time.
  2. Continue stirring as the sauce thickens.
  3. When the sauce comes to the boil allow it to cook for a minute, while still stirring.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
