White Rye Bread Machine Loaf


  • 750g Doves Farm Organic White Rye Flour
  • 2 tsp Doves Farm Quick Yeast
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 500ml milk


  1. Put the dry ingredients into the bread machine pan and stir with a spoon to combine, or add them in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer.
  2. Turn the machine to the basic or rye bread setting and select the dark crust option.
  3. Check the pan is locked into position and start the machine.
  4. Remove the bread from the machine as soon as it is cooked and remove the mixer paddle from the base.
  5. Cool the bread on a wire rack.
