Sultana Cookies

Makes 10 cookies

This recipe makes 10 generously sized fruity, buttery cookies. Perfect for an afternoon treat with a cup of tea or coffee, or ideal for packing into lunchboxes.

Free from Peanuts, Egg, Soya, Nuts


Change Quantities:
  1. Soak the sultanas in the milk, set aside.
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment and pre-heat the oven.
  3. Sieve the flour and baking powder into a bowl and stir to combine.
  4. Put the butter and sugar into another bowl and beat together until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the prepared flour.
  6. Stir in the sultanas and any remaining milk.
  7. Place spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each for spreading
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
