Golden Kamut is an artisan grain that bakes a pale wholemeal bread machine loaf. It has a delicious flavor and soft, delicate crumb structure with slightly less loaf volume.
Put the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer.
Turn the machine to the whole wheat rapid bread setting.
Select your preferred crust setting if available on the machine.
Check the pan is locked into position and start the machine.
Remove the bread pan from the machine as soon as it has finished baking.
Tip the bread out of the pan and remove the mixer paddle from the bottom of the loaf.
Cool the bread on a wire rack.

What a brilliant recipe!
This was our first ever home made bread and we were amazed with the loaf that came out of the machine - simply superb!
We follow the recipe to the letter, but have been using honey instead of sugar. With a little experimentation, we found that we get the best results by dissolving 1 tsp of honey (overflowing) in a little warm water, then topping it up with cold filtered water to 360ml (as per recipe).
What a difference good bread makes!

This was the first recipe I tried using this grain. The house filled with a glorious, mouthwatering smell as it baked, so I had high hopes for the result. The loaf was golden, dense and intense in flavour, making it a perfect accompaniment to hearty soups and stews. It's easy to slice thinly, but the nutty, slightly eggy and sweet flavour may have you moving that bread knife a bit further along the loaf. Don't expect this one to last long, unless you can hide it from the rest of the family!
