Wholemeal Khorasan and White 50-50 Bread Machine Loaf

Combining Wholemeal Khorasan Flour with Strong White Flour in this Half and Half bread produces a deliciously fragrant loaf with a subtle golden crumb. Ingredients:
1 tsp Doves Farm Quick Yeast
250g Doves Farm Organic Wholemeal Khorasan Flour
250g Doves Farm Organic Strong White Bread Flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
360ml water
Method:
- Put the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer.
- Close the lid and turn the machine to the whole wheat rapid bread setting.
- Select your preferred crust option if available on the machine.
- Check the pan is locked into position and start the machine.
- Remove the bread pan from the machine as soon as it has finished baking.
- Remove the mixer paddle from the bottom of the loaf.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack.
First time using Kamut Khorasan flour, so followed recipe to the letter. Lovely size and texture. Tastes wonderful, very slight sweet nutty flavour. Good for both sandwiches and toast. Unfortunately, as a result of tasting so good, it didn't last long, so will have to bake another one tomorrow.
