Gluten Free Scones


  • 200g FREEE Self Raising Flour
  • 4 tsp FREEE Baking Powder
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 25g ground almonds
  • 50g butter
  • 200ml milk
  • 2 tbsp milk


  1. Line a large baking tray with parchment and pre-heat the oven.
  2. Put the flour and baking powder into a bowl and blend together well.
  3. Stir in the sugar and almonds.
  4. Add the butter and blend with a fork until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  5. Pour the milk into the bowl and stir to make a soft, spongy mass of dough.
  6. Spoon into 12 piles of dough on the prepared baking tray.
  7. Gently tease the piles of dough into circles and brush the tops with milk.
  8. Bake for 22–25 minutes.
