Gluten Free Seared Sesame Tuna with Green Pea Penne

Without crystal sugar

Ingredients

Change Quantities:
  • 200g fresh tuna
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2cm ginger
  • 1 red chilli
  • 3 tbsp parsley
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 125g FREEE Green Pea Penne
  • salt and pepper
  1. Chop the tuna into 15mm chunks, put them into a bowl with the sesame seeds, mix well and set aside. Chop the spring onion and set aside.
  2. Grate the ginger, finely dice the chilli and parsley into another bowl, add the soy sauce and water and set aside.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan, add the garlic and fry until brown. Carefully remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  4. Add the tuna and turn so that it is seared on all sides, cover and remove from the heat.
  5. Bring a large pan of salted water to a rapid boil, add the pasta and cook for about 7 minutes. The pasta is cooked when it is still a little firm but can be cut easily with the side of a fork.
  6. Drain the pasta and return it to the cooking pan. Add the prepared ginger mix, seared tuna, salt and pepper and stir through.
  7. Serve topped with the fried garlic and sliced onion.
