Gluten Free Oven Baked White Bread


  • 450g FREEE White Bread Flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Doves Farm Quick Yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 325ml milk
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 6 tbsp oil


  1. Rub oil around the inside of a 1kg/2lb loaf tin.
  2. Mix together the flour, salt, yeast, and sugar.
  3. In a large bowl whisk the eggs.
  4. Beat in the milk and vinegar.
  5. Stir the liquid into the flour.
  6. Add three spoons of the oil and mix well.
  7. Drizzle the remaining three spoons of oil over the slightly sticky batter and using a spoon turn the mixture a couple of times in the bowl to encourage the formation of an oily, doughy mass.
  8. Tip the doughy mass into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
  9. Invert a large mixing bowl over the top of the tin and leave until the dough has risen to the top of the tin, about 60-90 minutes.
  10. Pre-heat the oven.
  11. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  12. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing.
