Gluten Free Cheese sauce


  • 500ml milk (or vegan milk)
  • 4 tbsp FREEE Organic Cornflour
  • 150g grated cheese (or vegan cheese)
  • salt and pepper


  1. Measure the milk into a jug.
  2. Put the cornflour and 5 spoons of the milk into a bowl, stir it into a paste and set it aside.
  3. Heat the remaining milk in a large pan until almost boiling then remove it from the heat.
  4. Stir the cornflour mixture back to a paste, then stir the paste into the milk.
  5. Return the pan to a gentle heat and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in the cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
