Gluten Free Buckwheat Breakfast Pancakes

Makes 8-10 pancakes

Free from Gluten, Egg, Soya, Wheat, Dairy, Nuts
Vegetarian, Without crystal sugar


Change Quantities:
  1. Measure out and melt the butter.
  2. Break the eggs (or chickpea flour + water) into a bowl or jug and beat to combine.
  3. Add the milk followed by the melted butter (or oil) and beat until smooth.
  4. Sieve the flour, icing sugar, baking powder and salt into another bowl and mix together well.
  5. Beat the flour blend into the prepared egg mixture.
  6. Put a little oil into a frying pan, roll it around to cover the surface and heat until the pan is nice and hot.
  7. Pour some batter into the pan to make 10cm/4”circles and cook over medium heat.
  8. When bubbles appear on the surface and the base is golden turn the pancake over and cook the other side.
  9. Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
  10. Serve warm with maple syrup.
