Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies


  • 200g FREEE Plain White Flour
  • 150g sugar
  • ½ tsp FREEE Bicarbonate of Soda
  • ½ tsp FREEE Xanthan Gum
  • pinch of salt
  • 50ml oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 75g Doves Farm Organic Plain Chocolate Chips


  1. Line two baking trays with parchment and pre-heat the oven.
  2. Put the flour, sugar, bicarbonate of soda, xanthan gum and salt into a bowl and stir well to combine.
  3. Pour in the oil, vanilla and egg and mix well.
  4. Using your hands, gather everything together into a dough.
  5. Add the chocolate chips and work them into the dough with your fingers.
  6. Spoon 6 piles of dough onto each prepared baking tray leaving space around each mound of dough.
  7. Bake for 18 mins until the cookies are light brown on the edges and still slightly soft in the middle.
  8. Leave to cool on the tray for 5 minutes then transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
