Farinata Flatbread


  • 100g Doves Farm Organic Chickpea Flour
  • ¼ tsp fine salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100ml water
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes
  • 1 tbsp rosemary (optional)


  1. Line a large baking tray with parchment and pre-heat the oven.
  2. Put the flour, fine salt, oil and water into a bowl and mix well to make a smooth paste.
  3. Cover and leave the paste to rest for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Tip the paste onto the prepared baking tray and spread it into a 23cm/9” circle.
  5. Sprinkle the sea salt and rosemary, if used, over the top.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Slice into triangles and serve as a snack or to accompany a meal.
