Vegan Chickpea Sauce


  • 425ml water (or stock)
  • 50g FREEE by Doves Farm Chickpea Flour
  • salt and pepper


  1. Put half the water into a saucepan over medium heat and the remaining liquid into a bowl.
  2. Add the flour the bowl and stir to make a paste.
  3. Pour the hot water onto the paste stirring all the time.
  4. Tip everything back into the saucepan and continue stirring as the sauce thickens and bring to the boil.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
