Gluten Free Chickpea Flour Sauce

A useful vegan white sauce that can be poured over steamed broccoli and cauliflower or served with any savoury dish.

Free from Gluten, Egg, Soya, Wheat, Dairy, Nuts
Vegetarian, Vegan, Without crystal sugar


Change Quantities:
  1. Put the stock into a saucepan over a medium heat and bring almost to the boil.
  2. Measure the flour and oil into a mixing bowl and stir to make a smooth, thin paste.
  3. Pour the hot stock onto the paste stirring all the time.
  4. Tip everything back into the saucepan and continue stirring as the sauce thickens and bring to the boil.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
