Gluten Free Chocolate Cornflake Cakes

Makes 12 small cornflake cakes

A popular tea time favourite, these little crispy cornflake cakes are quick and easy to prepare and don’t require baking. Children of all ages enjoy making and eating these, especially if you use good quality cooking chocolate. At Easter time, you could also make Vegan Easter Nests.

Free from Gluten, Egg, Soya


Change Quantities:
  1. Stand 12 fairy cake cases in the holes of a muffin tray.
  2. Gently melt together the butter and chocolate until just runny.
  3. Stir in the golden syrup.
  4. Add the corn flakes and stir until they are evenly covered in the chocolate.
  5. Working quickly, divide the mixture between the prepared cake cases.
  6. Divide any syrup left in the bowl between the cakes.
  7. Leave to set.
  8. When set, store in an airtight tin.

Having bought the gluten free pack with the cornflakes decided to make this recipe very easy and very delicious was met with lots of grown up yum yums as this is usually a treat for children so in he social distancing bubble we really enjoyed thank you
