Gluten Free Cheese Scones


  • 100g FREEE Buckwheat Flour
  • 2 tsp FREEE Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • 15g butter
  • 50g cheese, grated
  • 125ml milk


  1.  Line a baking tray with with parchment and pre-heat the oven.
  2. Sieve the flour, baking powder, paprika and mustard into a bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Add the butter and using a fork or pastry cutter mix it into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs. 
  4. Stir in half the grated cheese.
  5. Add the milk and stir until a sloppy dough starts to form.
  6. Divide the mixture into 8 mounds on the prepared baking tray.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over each mound.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.
