Our recipe

These American style pancakes are a special breakfast treat. Serve these blueberry pancakes with a drizzle of maple syrup and a handful of fresh blueberries. This recipe makes about 8 pancakes.

Ingredients

125 gSelf Raising Flour
1 tspBicarbonate of Soda
2 Egg
150 gMilk
25 gMelted Butter
100 gBlueberries
1 tbspOil
1 Agave/Maple/Golden Syrup

Method

1. Mix the flour and soda in a jug.

2. Beat in the egg and milk. Stir in the berries and melted butter.

3. Put a little oil into a frying pan, roll it around to cover the surface and heat until almost smoking.

4. Pour the mixture into the pan to make 8cm/3” circles and cook on medium heat.

5. When bubbles appear on the surface and the base is golden turn the pancake over and cook the other side.

6. Serve warm with syrup.

I wanted a healthy pancake recipe. I tried this and it has worked very well. I've added a little vanilla paste which just lifts it even further.

Great GF recipe. Cooked as per recipe but add a little bit more liquid. First time I have cooked pancakes since bring GF and they were great.

I really liked this recipe i used diary free ingredients too omitting blueberries. had sugar and lemon!

Again, as always another hit from Dove, they never fail us. I don't know why I try other flours, recipes and GF goods as I always come back to Dove.
These pancakes are delicious and no fuss to make. Well done.

I also think this a great recipe. I used soya margarine and soya mik and they were still fabulous. Thanks to Doves Farm and the web site I was able to cook the breakfast I wanted.

Made these with egg replacement & without the fruit - just lemon juice & maple syrup - lovely
