Quinoa and Banana Cake


  • 100g Doves Farm Organic Quinoa Flour
  • 2 tsp FREEE Baking Powder
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 orange rind and juice


  1. Line a 500g/1lb loaf tin with parchment and pre-heat the oven.
  2. Sieve the flour and baking powder into a bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Put the banana and brown sugar into mixing bowl and mash it into a paste.
  4. Beat in the oil.
  5. Grate the orange rind into the bowl and stir in the orange juice.
  6. Stir in the prepared flour.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
