2 x mixing bowls and greaseproof or parchment paper

AIR FRYER PIZZA
150g Doves Farm Organic Pasta and Pizza Flour
½ tsp Doves Farm Quick Yeast
75ml tepid water
pinch salt
2 tbsp olive oil
5 tbsp tomato passata
OR
4 tbsp tomato purée + 2 tomato, sliced
salt and pepper
flour, for dusting
olive oil, for brushing

TOPPING OPTIONS
oregano or basil
pesto
olives
mozzarella
cheese
pepperoni

Method:

Air fryer 200°

  1. Put the flour and yeast, into a large bowl, blend them together and stir in the water until it looks lumpy, then stir in the salt and oil.
  2. Using your hands gather together the doughy mass and knead in the bowl for 100 presses.
  3. Invert another bowl over the top and leave in a warm place, for at least 40 minutes. The dough can rest longer or even overnight in the fridge, just let it come back to room temperature before cooking.
  4. Cut two 15cm/6” circles of greaseproof or parchment paper and pre-heat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 200°C.
  5. Tip the dough onto a floured surface, stretch and fold it onto itself a few times, cut it in half and form two 15cm/6” circles.
  6. Put the dough circles on the paper circles, brush all over with olive oil, transfer to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes at 200°C.
  7. Carefully lift the pizza bases out of the air fryer, divide the passata OR tomato puree and sliced tomatoes between the pizza bases and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add optional toppings of your choice such as oregano or basil, small dots of pesto, olives, grated or sliced mozzarella, cheese or pepperoni.
  9. Return the pizza to the air fryer and cook at 200°C. for 4 minutes.
