Having made various doughs for years, after learning of the toxic nature of regular flour I was determined to find a good organic stone ground ancient grain. I picked up the wholemeal spelt in Sainsbury's and the difference is night and day. An utter pleasure to work with, delicious rich wholesome flavour and reminded of the real bread of my childhood. Also I experienced no bloating or discomfort and stayed satiated much longer. I'm now actively spreading the word with my friends and family as believe we need to support this great product and get back to traditional chemical free methods to reclaim our health. Well done for this great product at a very reasonable price and may you have growing success.

Dove's Farm Wholemeal Spelt, together with their White Spelt and Rye flours, which are mixed in a 60/30/10 ratio for my hand-made bread, and Dove's Farm dried yeast always gives the results I want. A 30mg addition of organic English honey [dissolved in tepid water] gives a wonderful taste to the bread which then comes out with a beautiful texture/ crumb. Worth going that extra mile for quality products when making your own bread.

I add a handful of spelt to my wholemeal flour when making brown soda bread it adds a really nice nutty texture I use a mixture of all your different flours to get the right result. Really like the Malthouse best with the malted wheat flakes have found that other finer ground flours from other mills do not give the same nice results

I use this spelt flour regularly, my bread maker doesn’t have a wholewheat spelt option but it works well on the normal wholewheat bread setting. I do prefer it to most other types of wholewheat flour available.

I use this flour in my breadmaker on 'dough' setting. It makes perfect rolls for work lunches. I absolutely love this brand of flour and continue to be impressed by the quality. I also use this flour to make healthy flat bread. Simply add natural yoghurt, a splash of virgin olive oil and a pinch of baking powder and it makes perfect flatbreads. The flatbread dough also keeps in the fridge for making beforehand.
