I am Coeliac and I cant use any flour with maize in it. Is there any chance in the future of maize being left out of one your flour products. It would be good for others that also have my problem. Thank you.

Hello I notice that you have a list for Fair trade products does that mean that your flours are not fair trade?

Great results baking mini cupcakes. However, as the carbs are high, does this register high on the glycaemic index?

I have used Dove's Farm flours for several years due to food allergies. I am concerned that these have now been given new packaging and no longer labelled "wheat free".

The ingredients of our gluten free blends have not changed. It is just the wording on the packets that has been altered. Our gluten free flours do not contain any wheat or gluten. We apologise for any confusion.

I used this flour blend for both the brownie receipe on the back of the packet which was very nice but i felt a little dense, then i made the fairy cakes from the receipe also on the back of the flour packet and added 2 heaped tsps of coffee and 1/2 tsp of baking powder for extra lift and only used 3 instead of 5 spoons of liquid at the end, which resulted in an amazingly light fluffy cake! so yes very pleased to have this flour blend to play with! Thank you Doves!!

I tried this flour tonight for the first time in a recipe for Lemon Cupcakes. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they turned out. Would definitely use this again and will try out some of the other products too.

This is great for cakes and things alike. Can this be used for bread? I can't get the Gluten Free Bread Flour here and am desperate to make some bread. Is there a recipe for bread using this flour?

The White Bread or Brown Bread flours would bake the best gluten free loaf. If you cannot get hold of these you could try substituting the Self Raising flour but unfortunately we do not have a recipe for this. ~Doves Farm

This is an excellent flour I make cakes and cupcakes so easily which this which just require a little extra whipping from normal cakes to rise. Flavor is excellent and product is great, I combine all gluten cake recipes calling for flour with 1 part this flour and 1 part rice flour and that is the perfect combo to get a moist great tasting cake. With half this flour and have rice flour substitute in cakes you get the perfect tasting cake no dryness! :)

This flour is so versatile. Cakes are so light and no one knows its not wheat flour. Drop scones are good too. The beauty of it is, you just use it in place of normal self raising flour. (Just adding a bit more liquid). Congratulations to Doves on their award. They deserve it.

I made the fairy cakes from the recipe on the pack - amazing! They are so light. And I made my shrove Tuesday pancakes, really yummy. I am so glad I found your flour as I love baking and really thought I was either going to have to stop or suffer everytime I made goodies. Highly recommended.
