Disappointing that after years of enjoying the semisweet digestive biscuits, those in the latest batch bought from Waitrose contain far too much sugar and are too thin and crisp.
Have you changed the recipe, the cooking time or the "Chef"?

These have been my biscuit of choice for several years, but not anymore. Either quality control has slipped or the receipt and baking have changed. My last pack(from Waitrose) were hard and over sweet, rather like eating a sugary ceramic tile. If my next pack is the same it will be my last, which will at least save me a two mile round trip to buy them.
Sadly I see this forum insist on a least one star, none would have been preferable.

Asolutely lovely biscuits. Great with a touch of butter and a slice of serrano ham or just with a tea or coffee. Have now bought the case deal so I always have some at hand. Highly recommended.
