Our Grains

At Doves Farm we have been milling historic, heritage grains since 1978. These grains were once abandoned in favour of modern wheat varieties for their higher crop yield, but we have led the way in reintroducing the grains loved by our ancestors back into the UK. We mill our organic ancient grains using the traditional stone grinding technique, a method that has remained largely unchanged from ancient times.
