Doves Farm Take On The Ridgeway Revenge

Taking on the undulating miles of Britain’s oldest path, members of the Doves Farm team took on a 10k and half marathon races at The Ridgeway Revenge on the 18th June 2016 to raise money for Send A Cow. The charity is one very close to our hearts, having supported their 'Planting Hope' Appeal in 2015. Well done to all the participants!

Send a Cow provide practical farming and support to end poverty for African families. They work hand-in-hand with some of Africa’s poorest farming communities who need help to thrive. With a proven package of on-going support and practical training, including farming skills, gender equality, sanitation and money management - alongside livestock and tools, the charity has lifted over 1.3 million people out of poverty. In 2015/2016 alone they worked directly with 21,600 smallholder farmers and a further 20,000 households at community level - and calculate that through this they were able to help improve the lives of some 379,000 people.
