Doves Farm Foods Ltd withdraws Chocolate & Crispy Rice Bars
batch code 1276 due to the undeclared presence of milk
Allergen: Milk
Product: Chocolate & Crispy Rice Bars
Risk: Batch Code 1276 of the above product has been found to contain milk which is not an intended ingredient.
This makes the product a potential health risk for people who are allergic or intolerant to milk or milk constituents.
As a precaution, the following codes have also been withdrawn:
1243, 1252, 1266, 1290, 1305, 1312, 1319, 1335, 1340, 1349, & 2010
All of the batches being recalled are in packaging as above. Check on the base of the box for the batch code.
Any product in the pack design below is marked as containing milk and is not affected by the recall.
Action taken by Doves Farm Foods
Although we have had no reported incidents related to our Chocolate & Crispy Rice Bars, a quantity of milk solids, which may elicit a reaction in consumers with an allergy, has been found in batch 1276.
Doves Farm Food Ltd has withdrawn the implicated batch from sale. As a precautionary measure, we have also chosen to withdraw other specified batch codes.
No other Doves Farm products are known to be affected
Advice to consumers:
Consumers with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents are advised not to eat this product.
