Guide to pasta shapes
Here is a brief guide to the shapes of gluten free pasta that we sell at Doves Farm.

Macaroni – One of the earliest pasta shapes. These little ‘elbows’ are great with a creamy, cheesy sauce.

Ditalini – these ‘little thimbles’ are perfect in soups and stews.Young children will love to eat them.

Spaghetti – A very well known pasta which is cut into long, thin strands.

Fusilli – This translates as ‘twisted spaghetti’ and is a popular spiral shaped pasta.

Penne – Long, tubular shapes which are cut diagonally at both ends.

Pipe Rigate – a hollow, curved pasta that resembles a snails shell.
