Despite the few and simple ingredients in this recipe the resulting biscuits will probably be some of the best you have ever tasted.

100 gButter
50 gCaster Sugar
150 gHeritage Wholemeal Flour

Method

1. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Work in the flour to form a stiff dough.
3. Roll out dough on a floured surface until 3mm/⅛” thick.
4. Cut into shapes and place these on an oiled baking tray.
5. Gather together the off cuts and re-roll to make further biscuits.
6. Bake in a preheated oven for 10/12 minutes.

Oven 180°C/Fan160°C/350°F/Gas 4
