Double Chocolate Brownies

Our recipe

Everyone loves brownie and this version has chocolate in the mixture and chocolate on the top. Chocolate with a high cocoa percentage is best for brownies although any cooking chocolate will do. This recipe makes 16 brownies.

Ingredients

100 gCooking Chocolate
125 gButter
1 tspVanilla Extract
2 Eggs
250 gBrown Sugar
125 gSelf Raising White Flour
75 gOrganic Plain Chocolate Drops

Method

  1. Break up chocolate and put it in a china bowl with the butter & vanilla extract.
  2. Put the bowl over a saucepan of boiling water until the chocolate and butter have melted.
  3. In a separate bowl beat together the eggs, sugar and self raising flour.
  4. Beat in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into a greaseproof lined 25x35cm/10x14” baking tray.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate drops over the top.
  7. Bake in a pre heated oven for 30/35 minutes.
  8. Cool in the tin before cutting into rectangles.
