Chocolate Drop Cakes

Ingredients

12  Paper Cake Cases  
1500g/4oz   Caster Sugar  
100g/4oz   Butter  
1   Egg
1/2tsp   Vanilla Extract  
125g/5oz   Self Raising White Flour  
2tbsp   Cocoa  
1tbsp   Milk  
75g/3oz   Plain Chocolate Drops 

Method

  1. Stand the cake cases on a baking or tart tray.
  2. Beat together the sugar and butter.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla, flour and milk.
  4. Stir in the plain chocolate drops.
  5. Fill the cake cases with the mixture.
  6. Sieve the cocoa over the cakes.
  7. Bake in a pre heated oven for 15/20 minutes.

 

Temperature & cooking time:
15/20mins at 200°C/Fan180°C/400°F/Gas 6
