Chocolate Courgette Cake

Adele's recipe

This is a very easy yummy moist cake

Ingredients

7oz plain doves farm plain flour
1tsp baking powder
1/2tsp bicarb of soda
1/2tsp salt
4oz caster sugar
6floz sunflower oil
2 large eggs
6oz plain dark chocolate (melted)
8oz grated courgette
2oz chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  1. place dry ingredients flour, baking powder, bicarb of soda, salt and sugar into a large bowl and mix together.
  2. Then beat oil and eggs and add to the dry mixture and stir in. Add melted chocolate, grated courgette and nuts if desired and mix.
  3. Place into a 2lb greased & floured (with doves farm flour) loaf tin and bake in centre of oven at 180 degrees for 50-60mins or until cooked.

Temperature & cooking time:
180 deg 50-60mins
