Chapati Flat Breads

250 gStrong White Bread Flour
1 tbspSunflower Oil
150 mlWarm Water

Method

  1. Mix together the flour, oil and water to form a dough.
  2. Knead well, cover with film and leave in a warm place for 2/4 hours.
  3. Knead the dough and cut it into 6 pieces.
  4. Roll each piece of dough into a ball and put it on a flour dusted board.
  5. Roll the dough into an 20cm/8" circle.
  6. Brush a large frying pan with a drop of oil and put on to heat.
  7. Put the dough circle into the pan and cook on medium heat for a few minutes.
  8. When air bubbles start to appear turn it over and cook the other side.
  9. Wrap chappati in tin foil and keep warm until ready to serve.
