In 2004 we joined a pilot scheme by the Soil Association aimed at highlighting the ethical practices followed by organic food producers. Similar to the Fairtrade Foundation, this scheme has a set of standards that go beyond standard organic requirements, ensuring that trade negotiations and employment conditions are fair for all involved. Companies must also demonstrate social and cultural contributions to their local community. The Ethical Trade scheme was rolled out by the Soil Association in 2008.
We currently have two products covered by Soil Association Organic Ethical Trade standards;
Wholewheat Cereal Biscuits and Organic Plain White Flour
