Transport Policy
Our transport routes and order scheduling is planned to ensure maximum load efficiency.
No goods are air freighted.
In 2010 Doves Farm Foods will focus on reducing waste;
- Vehicles will run at full capacity to reduce delivery costs
- Empty pallets will be collected, returned and recycled
- Car sharing among staff colleagues will be encouraged
In 2009 Doves Farm Foods tested the use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to power delivery vehicles, however the trial was not successful and this has not been adopted.
