Topic: Tell me about your bread machines

Hello,

I've recently been playing around with a bread machine to see what results you can actually get out of one.

I would really like some feedback from anyone using a bread machine with what machine your using, what your baking, how it comes out, what you like and don't like about them.

Personally because I love sandwiches the hole in the bottum of the bread is slightly annoying.

What do you think?

Re: Tell me about your bread machines

I have a Panasonic too and have used that recipe successfully lots of times - It works with soya/oat/almond milk, and whatever oil or vinegar I have int the cupboard.

Re: Tell me about your bread machines

Agree entirely with Jethro about the annoying hole in the bottom of the loaf!

There is a new bread machine out there (Panasonic I think) which has a collapsible paddle - so after the mixing / kneading the paddle folds away automatically leaving your bread hole-less.

Whether this is worth the considerable extra cost is another subject!

Re: Tell me about your bread machines

I am considering buying a bread making machine for my 7 year old who is gluten intolerant.  However I notice there is a price difference in the machines with a gf option.  Would a regular bread maker suffice or should I buy the one with the gf function, given that all ingredients will be gf.  I notice a Panasonic series has been mentioned on a few posts.

Many thanks from a 1st time poster!
