Topic: Palm Oil Ethics

Hello there,  I couldnt seem to find out where your palm oil came from via your website?  If it was an ethical and sustainable source?  There seems to be quite a problem with new plantations decreasing peatlands and habitable areas for wildlife?  Extremely sad.

Also, it would be good to note the nutritional aspects of your products a little more, as in the types of fats you are using and their pros and cons ...

I really like your layout - if I see anthing else I will let you know.

Kind regards,

Laura

Re: Palm Oil Ethics

I've got to say that I'm an absolute wildlife lover! For my honeymoon (only a couple of weeks ago) My wife and I wanted to do somthing we remebered. Sitting in a hotel isn't us. We got on a plane and flew off to a Jungle Conservation Program Area in Borneo. We saw some amazing things, both great and shocking.

This was the closes we got to the amazing Orangutans.

But the really shocking thing for me was the plantations.

We've all heard about the impact they have on the wildlife, soil and local environment.

We had to fly out there obviously (not great for carbon credits) but I saw this out the window.

This is clearing for plantations on a seriously large and worrying scale.

I hope that Doves Farm never get palm oil which is produced in this way.
