Really good brown bread with a superb taste and texture. It would be better if the flour could be supplied in 16 kg sacks.

Marketing guys take note.

I've tried this twice now- and both times it has come out like a brick, barely rising at all. I followed the recipe almost to the letter- the only thing being, I had to use an egg substitute and soy milk as I am making it for someone with a dairy allergy.

Could these account for the lack of success?
