An ancient relative of modern wheat, the spelt grain (triticum speltum) was widely grown by the Romans.
Our Organic Wholegrain Spelt Flour is milled the old fashioned way, using only wholegrains in the stoneground process, to create a 100% wholegrain spelt flour that has complex flavours and bakes a delicious loaf.
This pack contains five separate 1kg packs and is ideal for busy cooks and chefs wanting to keep flour in stock for baking.
Please note: All of our flours are unbleached. The addition of bleaching agents is not permitted in the UK.

Contains: GLUTEN (naturally present in spelt).
Our UK Mill does not use: nuts, milk, casein, eggs, soya.
Suitable for vegetarians & vegans.

Love the spelt flour whether wholemeal or white. Makes great soda bread and scones and 2 friends said they were the best scones they had ever tasted! So good for you also!:-]
