Bicarbonate of Soda (3 x 1kg)

Bicarbonate of Soda is a home baking raising agent and a household cleansing friend. It can be used instead of baking powder and will help dough to rise.

Gluten Free Batter Mix (5 x 1kg)

Create gluten free Yorkshire puddings, pancakes and batter items for frying.
 

Batter Coating
1. Mix 500g batter mix with 600ml of water to form a smooth paste.
2. Dip item to be cooked in any gluten free flour.
3. Dip floured item in prepared batter mix.
4. Fry in hot oil.

Gluten Free Custard Mix (3 x 1kg)

A 3 x 1kg gluten free catering pack of fine white floury custard powder lightly flavoured with vanilla.

Custard

1. Mix together 250g custard powder, 250g sugar 1lt milk into a smooth paste.

2. Heat 4.7lt milk then stir it into the paste.

3. Return everything to the heat.

4. Whisk over gentle heat until it thickens & bubbles start to appear.

Gluten Free Golden Breadcrumbs (6 x 1kg)

This 6kg catering pack is perfect for use in settings such as restaurants and schools where large quantities of our product are needed. Use as required for gluten free scotch eggs, fishcakes, rissoles and croquets or as a golden topping.


Crumb Coating

Gluten Free Sponge Mix (3 x 1kg)

We have created this 3kg catering pack of sponge mix especially for food service settings where gluten free cake or sponge is required. Blend with water, oil and egg for basic sponges or add additional flavourings.


Basic Sponge Cake

1. Beat together 1000g Sponge Mix with 325g Egg and 650ml Milk.

2. Spread into oiled baking trays.

3. Oven bake at Fan 170˚C for 30 minutes.

Perfect for use in sponges, cakes and puddings - this 3x1kg pack of organic baking powder is ideal for busy cooks or catering settings.

Baking

1. Add 1tsp of baking powder to the mix per 100g of flour.

Organic Chestnut Flour (10 x 500g)

Dried chestnuts milled into a light brown flour with a distinctive aroma and pleasing sweet taste. This organic, gluten free flour is ideal for use in baked goods, sweets, pancakes, desserts and icecream. It's good to use alone or combined with wheat flour.

Organic Gelatine 1kg

Easy to use sheets of organic pure pork gelatine that will dissolve in water in a few minutes. It can be used in puddings, pies, jellies and as a stabiliser.This is presently the only organic gelatine on the UK market.

1. Soak 6-8 gelatine leaves in cold water for about 5 minutes then drain well.

2. Warm 500ml liquid, juice, milk or cream.

3. Add the gelatin and stir over heat, without boiling, until dissolved.

4. Alternatively dissolve the gelatin in a pan over low heat while stirring.

5. Add a few spoons of cold liquid from a 500ml measure of liquid, juice, milk or cream, then stir everything together over heat without boiling.

6. Place the gelatine mixture in a bowl or mould and chill to set.

16kg Gluten Free Organic Plain White Flour

Organic Gluten Free Plain White Flour (16kg)

Organic Gluten Free Plain White Flour is a blend of naturally gluten and wheat free ingredients and is a perfect special diet alternative to everyday wheat flour. This blend has been made using only certied organic ingredients.

Our Gluten Free Flour will need a little extra liquid in most standard recipes, or follow our own gluten free recipes for best results. When making cakes, add organic gluten free Baking Powder to the dry flour before use; about 1tsp per 100g should be enough.

This 16kg sack size suits serious home cooks, gluten free cake makers, small bakeries, catering companies, schools and very busy foodservice kitchens.
