Doves Farm Timeline

1978

Michael & Clare Marriage start to grow organic wheat at Doves Farm and install stone grinding equipment in a barn. Wholemeal flours are sold to health food stores and specialists bakeries. 

1985 

Wholewheat Digestive biscuits are launched, baked with stoneground wholemeal flour. 

1986 

New stonegrinding and roller milling plant is commissioned. 

1990 

Breakfast cereal range introduced. 

1996 

Spelt grain planted at Doves Farm and the mill starts to produce wholegrain spelt flour. 

2001 

Dedicated equipment is installed in the mill to ensure complete separation when milling gluten free flours. 

2003 

Fairtrade organic ingredients sourced for the bakery and Fairtrade biscuits added to the product range. 

2005 

Ethical Organic flour and Cereal Biscuits introduced. 

2007 

BRC accreditation is achieved and we opened our first dedicated Gluten Free Bakery 

2008 

Our 30th year of trading. 

2009 

Launch Doves Farm Online Shop
